Tamata Sailing, sport association, came to life in 2001
as the realization of a great dream: live in the nature,
in contact with all the primordial forces which the wind,
the water, the earth, the fire, the air. It is a life philosophy that runs on the waves
of a sailing boat.
Name TAMATA wants to be an homage to the great navigator Bernard Moitessier, from its
book
"Tamata and the Alliance": "I listen to the sea running along the planking... I understand
now the language of all these musics. And musics remember me to never forget that in this
unlimited land, in this land of wind, lights and peace, there is only a Big Chief, the Sea"
Our great passions: The sea and the sail.
Our idea: offer you a splendid holiday aboard the wonderful boats along the beautiful
coasts of the Tuscan Archipelago, with all mod cons and safety. A day to the discovery of
Porto Venere with the Palmaria and Tino islands, or week end to the island of Capraia and
finally the weeks in turn for the beautiful islands of our Tyrrhenian Sea.
Ours skipper, all experts and deep connoisseurs of the islands of the
Tuscan Archipelago
with the Giglio, Giannutri, Elba, Capraia, the Corsica and the Sardinia, will introduce
you the beautiful and characteristic places of our sea, to the search for incontaminate beaches,
of the most transparent sea,of red fire sunsets and because not... of the more
sparkling movida.
