VIAREGGIO:
Our main base near Lucca, Viareggio is a famous seaside resort, as well as a worldly, cultural and tourist center appreciated in all Europe and characterized by a very particolar architectural style between Eclecticism and Liberty. Viareggio can be easily reached by the most important cities of Tuscany and of Italy, also by means of the important railway and highway networks.
By car (Highways):
rom the South: catch the Highway n.1 (A1 = Highway of the Sun) up to Firenze; then catch the Highway n.11 (A11 = Highway Firenze Mare) up to the tollgate of Viareggio.
From the North: catch the Highway n. 1 (A1 = Highway of the Sun) up to Parma; then catch the Highway n.15 (A15 = Highway of Cisa) up to S.Stefano Magra and finally catch the Highway n.12 (A12 = Highway Genova- Rosignano) up to the tollgate of Viareggio.
By train:

Ventimiglia-Torino-Genova-Pisa-Roma;
Milano-Livorno;
Viareggio-Lucca-Pistoia-Prato-Firenze.
By air:

SALIVOLI:
Near Livorno, Salivoli is the tourist port of Piombino, as well as an exellent starting point for the Island of Elba, reachable in less than one hour sailing. Its artistic treasures, like the Etruscan Museum, the Castle and the ancient Porta a Terra attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, and the surrounding Populonia which overtops the Gulf of Baratti with the beauty of its beaches and its sea, make Salivoli an interesting embarkation place.
By car (Highways):
From the North: catch the Highway n.12 (A12 = Highway Genova-Rosignano) up to Rosignano; then go on in the State Highway called Aurelia (SS1) in the direction of Grosseto-Roma up to the exit of Piombino -Isola d’Elba; then go on up to the fork for Salivoli.
From the South: catch the Aurelia State Highway in the direction of Livorno up to the exit of Piombino-Isola d’Elba. Then go on up to the fork for Salivoli.
By train :
On the railway line Pisa-Livorno-Grosseto-Roma, get down in the railway station of Campiglia Marittima; then catch the connection for Piombino by train or by bus.
By air:
